Monier Lifetile recieves Class 4 hail rating on shingles

It is highly important for all roofing manufacturers to have a Class 4 hail rating on at least one of their shingle lines. The Class 4 rating is given to certain shingle lines as long as they follow exact requirements of insurance companies. Monier Lifetile has been a premiere concrete shingle maker in the country for countless years. Monier has been awarded the Class 4 rating on their flat tile line. This is good news for the people of Texas and Oklahoma becuase of the heavy storms we recieve every year that contain hail. Monier Lifetile makes 50 year concrete shingles and now with this new Class 4 rating makes this a very viable option for new roof and reroof construction. This new rating means any home owner who decides to put on a new tile or even composition roof which carries the Class 4 rating is eligable for a homeowners insurance discount. We at Eclat Roofing have seen Homeowners who we have put on a Class 4 roof on their homes see discounts on their premiums from 15 to 30 percent. Although a Class 4 shingle roof may cost more than the stardard roof the ammenities that come with a Class 4 roof makes it a great option. Over time a Class 4 roof can even pay for itself by the discount you will recieve from your insurance carrier.
